Fine dining, excellent food, best customer service

Posted by XenoChron on 8/19/2009

Definitely a treat when the occasion warrants it. They have the best cream of mushroom soup anywhere. Food is always good. Customer service is top notch. I asked the waitress to surprise me and she did but it was a very spicy Thai dish and I just couldn't stomach it. It was probably fine if you like that sort of thing. It was clearly my fault for not looking up what waitress suggested but they removed the charge for my dish from bill!! Now that is customer service! They have a customer for life after that!

Turned away customers

For anyone that may be enticed by this over-priced restaurant, perhaps you should save your money. They state in their add that they make you feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. Well, perhaps if you were wearing what they thought was the correct attire, they would make you feel at home, however, if you are not they will turn you away. Perhaps the PS restaurant should also publish that it is not a casual dining atmospere. How embarassing!

You get what you pay for

P.S. Restaurant is one of the most expensive restaurants in Broome County, though the food is worth it. The restaurant itself is hidden in the little nook of stores that is the Giant grocery store on Rano Boulevard. Reservations are required. The best appetizer is the goose liver pate, and the filet mignon is done to perfection.
